{inka orange) – 1973

This is Inka, Inka is a 1973 BMW 2002 fun little vintage car. If you haven’t already noticed I love all things vintage, rollei, super 8, cars, etc.. I was driving back from a San Francisco wedding last year and saw this model car on the roads and I fell in love..

As I was doing some research I soon found out that this car is more popular that I thought..So in talking to friends and family about this model (2002 bmw) I soon found out that many of them loved them, or had one, or knew someone who had one in the past.. My good friend Gene Higa had one back in the day and raced it..

So while Sandy Pan was here on her 1 on 1 workshop we took it out on a drive around town, It was the first time I had guests in the car so I was a little nervous, but it all worked out fine..

  10. marisa holmes - I almost bought one back in college, but I bought a '66 VW bug instead! Mine bug was stock with the original black and gold California plates. It even was in a VW Japanese magazine once... how funny! Next time I see you you will have to take me for a ride in it!

  11. Briana - No way… I had a ’76 BMW 2002. Drove it in college. I loved that damn car. It was black, had Recaro racing seats, and the ac didn’t work…in fact, the heater was on all of the time. Great beach car...but was horrible in the Napa Valley summer. It was a POS...but I loved it! You brought back some memories with that pic.
