I met Mireen at my Italy Workshop 2 years ago and instantly fell in love with her, she has the sweetest soul of anyone I have ever met. I knew the second I met her we were going to be life long friends. I was thrilled when she and Markus invited Joel Serrato and I to shoot their wedding in CA this August and even more thrilled when they invited us to hang out with them in the South of France and shoot their engagement session while we were there.
victoria | vmac+cheese - Jose...I mean, really. This shoot is just BEYOND. I don't know how anyone could manage to make Provence more beautiful than it already is, but you did it. Bravo!

Gee - I peruse the pages of Jose's blog on a nightly basis, transfixed by his ethereal pastel images. As this set is among my favorites, I wanted to learn more of the lovely Mireen and see some of her own work. After viewing her website and blog, I am reminded of Colton's oft cited quotation: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Let us hope that Jose's success has not spawned legions of clones.
